That’s referred to as Credit for Prior Learning (CPL). CPL is academic credit awarded to students who successfully demonstrate college-level learning through formal and informal methods learning outside of the classroom.

Whether it's knowledge and skills acquired through work experience, industry certification, previous training, or non-formal learning. CPL (CPL) may be an option. M State seeks to recognize those skills and knowledge gained. You can have your learning evaluated for academic credit.
